And we are getting so close to the end! I realized that I haven’t written about the snacks we are eating so I will supply that today especially since our Day 7 dinner was a complete fail.
Here is what we are snacking on (snacks are 3 times a day): Apples or celery sticks w/ all-natural peanut or almond butter, low glycemic fruits, veggie salad, Larabars, nuts, avocados, hard-boiled eggs, kale chips, carrot sticks, cherry tomatoes, turkey meatballs, homemade apple chips, cucumber, frozen peanut butter banana bites, vegetables w/ hummus, avocado dip, sliced peppers, sugar snap peas
Here is a quick rundown of our meal plan for day 7:
Breakfast: Omelets w/ peppers, onions & salsa
Lunch: Leftover turkey burgers & salad
Dinner: Beet burgers – we didn’t like them so I am not going to share the recipe, they also took more than 1 hour to prepare (yikes)
And it looked like I cut my hand open, there was red juice from the beets everywhere. Oh & I had cream corduroy pants. Note to self, don’t ever wear cream pants when cooking.
The mixture looked pretty in the bowl…..
….but the taste was not worth the effort.
